Visiting the website

When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary access data such as IP address, date, time, requested file, amount of data transferred, browser and system information and referrer, as far as the hosting provider supplies this data. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, for the secure and stable delivery of the website.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies and uses no local browser storage. The chosen language is kept only in the address of the page. There is no contact form, no user account and no newsletter.

Privacy settings

No statistics, marketing, tracking or external media services are loaded. Fonts, scripts, images and sound examples are delivered by this server. There are therefore no categories requiring consent that would have to be enabled or withdrawn. Should optional services be added later, they must be individually manageable before loading and revocable at any time.

E-mail contact

The contact link opens your e-mail application. When you write by e-mail, the contact details and content you provide are processed in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the matter is closed and no retention obligation applies.

Service providers and transfers to third countries

Hosting and e-mail are provided by Goneo or comparable technical service providers. No optional tracking, analytics, marketing, social plug-in, CDN or AI services are used. A transfer to third countries is not intended for the normal operation of the website.

The Tone Field app

The app collects no data. There is no account, no server, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party code. The microphone records the short samples you play as an instrument; recordings stay in the app’s storage on your device and in the project files you export yourself. Bluetooth and the local network are used for MIDI only, to reach keyboards, controllers and computers you connect yourself. Purchases are handled by Apple. Crash reports reach the developer only if you have agreed to share them with developers in iOS Settings, and then through Apple without your identity.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, data subjects have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, it can be withdrawn with effect for the future. There is also a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
